My dear ladies,
Last year, at WE Convention in Dubai, we unveiled the pilot print edition of WE Magazine for the very first time. Even then, I knew one thing for certain: this was only the beginning.
That first issue was followed by months of intensive work - shaping the concept, building the editorial team, creating the website, and putting in place everything required to launch a fully fledged media platform. We waited for licenses and approvals, completed every necessary step in the UAE, brought together an incredible team, and gradually transformed an idea into something much bigger.
And today, I can finally say it out loud: WE Magazine is officially live!
WE Magazine is now more than a print publication. It is a full-scale media platform with a digital home of its own - and another important part of the Women Empowerment Universe, alongside WE Council and WE Convention.
For me, this is far more than another project. It is the realization of a dream I have carried with me for many years.
As a child, I loved magazines and newspapers and dreamed of working in media one day. Later, I enrolled in journalism school, chose media management as my focus, and allowed myself to dream even bigger: not simply to work in the industry, but to create a media platform of my own.
Life took me toward that dream by an unexpected route. I moved into marketing and publicity, became a senior executive, built my own business, and launched many different projects along the way. Yet the dream of creating my own magazine never left me. And now, many years later, it has finally become a reality.
In the pages of WE Magazine and on our website, you will find conversations with women leaders, remarkable stories of entrepreneurs and professionals across industries, and thoughtful coverage of careers, business, finance, leadership, culture, travel, and life. I want women to come here not only for inspiration, but also for knowledge, ideas, and practical tools that can help them grow, move forward with confidence, and pursue their own ambitions more boldly.
Years ago, whenever I read business magazines, I kept asking myself the same question: why were their pages filled with stories of successful men, while stories of successful women were so much harder to find? I needed those examples myself. I wanted women I could look to and think, If she did it, perhaps I can too.
Today, I am proud to introduce exactly the kind of place I once wished existed: WE Magazine - a space where successful women can speak openly and confidently about who they are, share their experience and their light with others, and tell stories that remind us just how much is possible.
So, let's go, ladies! Dream bigger. Act bolder. And become the women others will one day choose to follow.
